Description:

Farmers Elevator & Exchange has been Your Partner Since 1917, providing agricultural products and services to Southeast Iowa for over 100 years.  FEE is seeking a motivated individual to join our team to be responsible for daily mill operations and feed deliveries at our Wapello facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

(Included, but not limited to)

• Maintain safe and clean work environment
• Operate batch mixing, bagging, & delivery equipment
• Perform general maintenance of facility and equipment
• Track inventory of feed ingredients
• Order bulk & bagged feeds & ingredients
• Deliver feed to livestock production facilities
• Provide excellent customer service

Education/Requirements:

• High School diploma, 2-year degree preferred but not required
• Agriculture background/experience preferred, will train
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Have valid driver's license with clear driving record
• Ability to:
  • Lift up-to 75 pounds
  • Climb bins, ladders, & stairs
  • Work in dusty and adverse weather conditions and temperatures

Licenses & Qualifications:

• Class A Commercial Driver's License (or obtain with training)
  • Air Brakes
  • Manual Transmission
